Youth Centres Canada is seeking articles for our magazine! YCC releases publications throughout the year of our magazine #YouthCentresCan. We are currently working on our latest publication. Some article topics we are looking for include:
• Culture Based Programs • Fundraisers
• Youth Issues/ Info for Youth • Featured Organizations
• Youth Centre Champions • Special Programs/ Events
• Youth Initiatives/ Recruitment for committees, etc.
• Scholarship Lists w/ Deadlines
If you have any ideas on these topics or an original idea please send submissions to communications@youthcentrescanada.com, explaining your plan for an article by February 15th 2018. Content submitted may be accepted for any publication of the magazine, our bi-weekly newsletter, or our online blogs. We hope to hear from you!

2017 Annual General Meeting

Youth Centres Canada will be hosting our 2017 AGM on Sunday, June 25th 2017 st 1:00pm Eastern Time. A lot has happened in the past year, and we can’t wait to share the details with you!

Like last year, we will be hosting our AGM virtually, but we will have a physical location in the Ottawa area that will be announced soon. For those of you who will be joining virtually, we will be using the Youth Centres Canada Join.Me to broadcast.

Youth X Canada Tour 2017

Youth X Canada: Music Tour 2017 is a unique and inspiring project designed to discover, explore and celebrate the diversity of Canada’s geographic, cultural and musical landscapes as seen from the perspective of young, aspiring Canadian music artists.

As we join together to celebrate our country’s 150th Anniversary, this energetic group of young music artists from different musical backgrounds, will travel across Canada visiting local Youth Centres and Indigenous Communities, sharing experiences, hosting music workshops and performing.

During their travels, the Youth X Canada team will be documenting and sharing their experiences through social media and encouraging everyone to celebrate the wonder of Canada’s rich cultural and musical diversity.
